Welcome, I'm Laura!
Hey there!
I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. I began my professional journey with a passion for creating visual learning tools through my art. My dream was to become a children's book illustrator, and I was thrilled to land my first major client, Raymond Geddes and Company, Inc. (a school supplies company). I am currently employed as an Art Director for a global pharmaceutical company, and I have held this position for nearly 6 years. I am a member of an exceptional In-House Creative Team that concentrates on developing and enhancing print and digital marketing materials for national distribution, medical conferences, product launches, and internal presentations. Our objective is to support healthcare professionals and to offer patients and their families the information necessary to make well-informed decisions about their healthcare.
But as you can see here, I have recently felt the urge to pursue my original goal of creating children's books. I'm excited to pick up my pencils, markers, and paintbrushes to bring my dream to life. I've immersed myself in the latest trends, apps, and techniques to continue growing as an artist and expand my portfolio.
I'm looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me, and I'm open to new opportunities. I plan to update my portfolio monthly and work hard to showcase my skills. I'm seeking representation and would love to connect with you.

FUN FACTS!
I love hiking and cycling, especially along the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal. I wish I could sing and I love a nail-biting, spine-tingling haunted campfire story. If anyone knows me, they know I am a proud boy mom, and we are having so much fun with our little pup, Rue.
